We had a great time with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Heather, Aunt Laura and Uncle Taylor while we visited some of the sites in Norfolk and in Virginia Beach. One of the first places we went to was the Naval Museum. The boys got to see a lot of neat things. They were able to see some baby nurse sharks, touch a Horseshoe crab, and see a real aircraft carrier. Derrick isn't in the picture with us in front of the aircraft carrier because he was asleep in the stroller.
Then we went and spent the evening on the boardwalk in Virginia Beach. The boys, especially Tyler and Jared, were so excited to see the beach and the ocean because they remembered how fun it was to play on the sand! Tyler and Jared went on a couple of rides. One of them was a log ride and the other was a big slide. Tyler loved going on the rides but once was enough for Jared! Nate had fun on a little train ride but we could tell he was wondering when he was old enough to do the big rides! Derrick learned that night that he needed to stay close to Uncle Taylor because he will feed him ice cream! Silly Taylor! Babies don't eat ice cream! Fred and I were all smiles because it was awesome to see so many trees again and to be on the east coast. We love Arizona, but the east will always hold our hearts!
We had such a good time in Virginia and couldn't wait to meet up with the rest of the family in Nags Head.

Hey Dori-
Looks like you guys had a great vacation! We went to VA several years back (actually right before 9/11) and we absolutely loved it! Chris and I just took a trip to NYC in May and we loved it there too. Your family is so beautiful, I love seeing all your pictures!!
