Jared is lucky enough to go to a school where Santa comes to visit for breakfast! We had a great time eating pancakes, drinking juice, and of course, visiting with Santa! Jared's birthday party with friends was later in the day and having breakfast with Santa was the perfect start to a day just for Jared!
Tyler told Santa that he wants a Nintendo DS for Christmas, and Nate told Santa that his name was "Nater" and he wanted Star Wars: Clone Wars stuff for Christmas. Jared surprised mommy and daddy when he told Santa that he wanted a small scooter for decoration in his room...wow...I really hope Santa can pull through for that one because we have NO IDEA where Santa will get something like that! Especially on short notice! But thank goodness he has all those elves to help him out..hee hee..so he is not feeling any pressure at all! He is not at all worried about smashing Jared's belief in Santa to smithereens if he can't find a "decorative" scooter! Jared is sure that Santa will come through for him though!
Derrick wanted nothing to do with Santa! You can see the terror on his face...ha ha!His brothers tried to assure him that if he sits on his lap that Santa will bring him gifts but Derrick didn't care! It will be fun to see how he embraces Christmas next year. But for now he likes to play with the wrapping paper and accessories!
