Just Enough for Sledding

Another reason our family was grateful for the snow is now we could go sledding! There wasn't a lot of snow in Aspen Grove but enough for the boys and their cousins to go. Uncle Taylor stood at the bottom of the small hill to catch the kids and Freddie and Uncle Kevin helped them at the top. It was so fun having Grandpa and Grandma, aunts and uncles and cousins all playing together in the snow. The only thing missing was our lovely Aunt Heather and Aunt Cheryl's family. You were definately thought of a lot! We are blessed with an amazing family! The boys favorite part was getting in a snow ball fight with Uncle Taylor and Uncle Kevin, and making snow angels. That day Tyler lost two teeth, one on the top and one on the bottom. He loved smiling and showing off his new "holes!"

Derrick didn't have any desire to play in the snow. He was content to stay warm, bundled up in any arms that would hold him. Grandma and Grandpa took care of the babies...I think it was to keep themselves warm and not the other way around! You know how easily you get cold when your that old...ha ha! Just kidding! Saylor spent most of the time looking at one of her hands and wondering why her mom and dad didn't buy her gloves that fit BOTH hands! It will be fun to see him toddling around with his brothers the next time we go to Utah.

We had so much fun being with everyone on this trip. It was really hard to say goodbye. But we will see them again soon!

You got to see Chantelle? Lucky!

I was driving north the same day you were! Not as far though and only traces of snow left from last week.

Boys in te snow are so much fun! I'm glad you were all able to go.
