A couple of weeks ago Tyler and Jared were able to go to an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game with their dad and papa. What made this particular pre-season game special was that the Diamondbacks were playing against their papa's favorite baseball team... the Colorado Rockies. This was the first professional baseball game for both of the boys and they had a great time. Their seats were in the outfield, so they were looking at home plate. Tyler was convinced that he was going to be able to catch a home run ball and made sure that he and Jared were prepared by bringing their baseball gloves.
They got full on hot dogs, french fries, nachos, and all the other junk food you just HAVE to have when at a ball game! Daddy helped them to get a really close look at all the ball players with the binoculars they brought. No one came home with a home run ball but plenty were hit in their direction... just too high to catch!
It was a perfect night for all involved! Their papa got to fulfill a dream of watching his Rockies play and the boys got to share that special memory with him!
